TheFunWait
Terms of Service
Last updated
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of TheFunWait, operated by TheFunWait ("we", "us"). TheFunWait is a self-running trivia and discussion game shown on televisions in waiting areas, managed from the TheFunWait Control Center.
By creating an account, linking a television or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using TheFunWait for a business, you confirm that you may accept these Terms for that business.
1. The service
TheFunWait provides a game that plays on your televisions, a Control Center for managing customers, screens, questions and game styles, and TV apps for web browsers, Android TV, Fire TV and Roku. We may improve or change features over time.
2. Accounts
- Keep your sign-in details private. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- Tell us straight away at the email address on our website if you think your account has been used without permission.
- You must give accurate business information.
3. Demo and subscription
- A demo lets a business try TheFunWait for a limited time each day during a limited period, as shown in the Control Center.
- Full use requires an active subscription. Prices, billing periods and payment terms are those agreed with you when you subscribe.
- If a subscription ends, linked televisions stop playing the full game.
4. Your content
You may upload logos, pictures, messages and questions ("Your Content"). You keep ownership of Your Content and confirm that you have the right to use it, including any trademarks or images. You give us permission to store and display Your Content only to provide the service to you.
Do not upload anything that is unlawful, misleading, offensive, or that infringes someone else's rights. We may remove content that breaks these Terms.
5. Acceptable use
Do not misuse TheFunWait. In particular, do not try to access accounts or data that are not yours, interfere with the service, copy or resell the apps, or use the service to show content that is inappropriate for a public waiting area.
6. Our content
The apps, game design, artwork, built-in questions and the TheFunWait name belong to TheFunWait or its licensors. You may use them only as part of the service while your account is active.
7. Availability
We work to keep TheFunWait running, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Televisions keep playing saved content for a while if the internet connection drops. Planned maintenance may occasionally cause short interruptions.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, TheFunWait is provided "as is", and TheFunWait is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the three months before the claim.
9. Ending the service
You can stop using TheFunWait at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms or remains unpaid, and we will tell you first where we reasonably can.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version on this page with a new date and, for important changes, let account holders know.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the place where TheFunWait is established.
